Sound isnt working. please help!

ok i was playing and my sound suddenly went out i restarted my computer and my sound was working fine i tried playing music and it worked fine when i got on trem it worked fine too, on the main menu and server list. but every time i go on a server now when i get on the server i cant hear any sound. can anyone help me out?

We need more info. Start tremulous in a console /DOS box and post the output here.

You can try 'seta s_volume 1' in the trem console in case you have some server-specific low volume settings.
