It seems to be that aliens dont get much help in getting s2, the game usualy goes like this, humans get s2, aliens get s2 shortly followed by human s3 or humans sometime get s3 before aliens hit s2.

In s2 humans get pulse rifles and other weapons, helmets and jetpacks, ect.. aliens get adv mara so they can zap, and gas for basks when humans almost all have helmets already, they also often have their base moved in s2 to a good spot so its hard for aliens to attack at all and slow them down.

What I am getting at of course is that aliens need something better to help them in s2, adv dragoons is my first thought, that would help harass the base and bsuits if humans get s3 early but would leave alien s3 rather sparse upgrade wise, humans only get bsuits and luci as far as i can recall but tyrants alone would be boring.

Can anyone think of any ideas to make s2 less like s1 for aliens or something to add to s3 to make up for getting adv goons in s2?

Edit: Lots of peopel have talked about giving dretches a boost later on, would some kind of advanced dretch, maybe one that sticks to battle suits as was suggested elsewhere would be a good addition to s3 and make them less useless?

Hey Kattana, s2 for Aliens bring in the two most valuable things, the Booster and the Advanced Mara. What on earth are you talking about?

Don't forget the trapper and the adv granger ( ie, bility to build on walls and ceiling )

The adv marauder is rather valuable, especially when dealing with Jet Packs. It does seem tho, that we could use something additional in stage 2. How about the adv dretch?

There are so many Topics about S2 aliens and Human advantages or some other crap. The teams are fair,if your team loses then its your teams fault not the programmers fault for not making it nanometer perfect.I mean C'mon,Give the devs some slack and stop saying its cos they made the teams unfair,they seem damm fair to me.

Well, adding more abilities to the adv. basilisk might be a start. People are framing it as the alien support class and trying to toss more abilities onto it so it can do *something*.
