What about making impossible for grangers to place eggs if they are not pregnant?
We would see grangers running around asking for some alien sex (imagine a granger-tyrant sex :roll: )
Humans could build a special structure named "condom distributor" or maybe a "contraceptive pill cannon" and make egss placing impossible.

I think that akiens you see in tremulous dont need to have sex, because it goes like this: Those nasty little bugs you see in game are clones and have best genes for that purposes they need to do, like dreches are fast and agile making them killingmachines (in good hands of course) and grangers are the best builders. But if we travel many millions of lightyears away from game arenas we play, we find a civilised alien civilisation which produce their own culture: they play bridge and chess, go in church, have casual sex, read and go in movies to see latest version from "Granger and humie" made by William Drechspear. These aliens have sex and share dna:s by that way and once they find a good combination they send this dna to Over Mind which starts to produce new dreches which are more agile and stroner or Grangers which build even faster.

In a nuttshell: Trems aliens are mindles killing/buildingmachines and having sex is useless for them 'cause they all have same genes. Hope you understood .
