Hello Everyone. SoH Is a friendly clan with players who have some skill in Tremulous. We are also a social clan with very friendly players. We scrim very often and are always looking for new people. We don't have our own server yet but will be getting one up soon. We will welcome anyone who is interested.

Clan's typically revolve around scrimmaging each other, and are more elitist.

There are a number of different types of guilds:
-MG is for developers.
-DRU is just a fun group of guys that like to hang out together... they'll scrim, but rarely.
-Void, as I see it, ended up just being a bunch of posers... MG wannabe spammers that didn't make the cut.

A good rule of thumb is: If your "clan" is about to scrim your "guild," then you are officially a multiclanner, clanwhore, and a dipshit.

Void isn't for people who want to be in MG. I personally would not join MG. It's not done much, admittedly, but the idea of it was a good one: to get people involved who normally wouldn't because they don't feel like part of the inside group of developers making all the calls. I find Dr. Strangelove to be a highly respectable guy, far from a "spammer". I'll not comment on myself.

I believe that balance decisions should be made by the best players, not the best coders, even though this is realistically never going to happen. Either way, I'm not trying to flame MG: just don't consider me a "wannabe" for a second.

Last time the two of us chatted about Void, you distanced yourself from it, and claimed that beyond doing some hosting for them, you weren't involved.  As for Drstrangelove, I have the utmost respect for him, but he's been AWOL of a while now.  When I talk about the "Void" I percieve, I'm talking about the more active and outspoken members:  The "face" or Void.  I'm talking about guys like Hendrich, Syntac, and Powa.

This post is completely offtopic, and I realize that.  I figured a mod was inevitably going to remove most of this stuff anyway, so why not just further explain my previous post, while it still exists.

Sorry, but I don't see why you feel like targeting something without cause or reason.

Go look at void's roster, less than half of it has even considered an MG application.  I'm probably the only noteable one that did and I thought, besides setting a new record on neg recs, my application could of gone a lot worse.  I learned a lot about myself and a lot about a side of trem I hadn't seen before.

I also don't see how we're posers or spammers.  Where have we ever pretended we are or are striving to be MG?  Void is built around an entirely different basis.  MG is for awesome people who love doing awesome stuff (you know like designing 1.2).  Void is for chumps like me who, while self admittedly are far from perfect, just want to do something or try to do something to benefit and improve the community. 

Also, while hendhrich spams the forums, he also does a lot of positive things including helping/being friendly to other especially new visitors and making thorough and helpful guides.  Unlike you who just flames anything with legs.  So I'll always have more respect for hendhrich than I will ever have for you Kaine. 



I also don't see, where you find it necessary to take an extremely cheap jab at Void in a thread that had NOTHING to do with it.  It seems like since your parting from AoD all you have is hate for me and anything that relates to me.  You went out of your way to start problems.  Idk, but this whole you trying to be player1 isn't working well.  Player1 actually has something on ya Kaine.  Its called respect and intelligence.

   Syntax is for the most part a level headed and also an extremely capable and talented guy.  We also have volt who is doing a lot behind the scenes atm.  Void is also sponsoring and fully supporting the third race project including hosting of site and server and hopefully involvement with ideas and testing once forums are up there.



Kaine, honestly, if you have something negative to say about me, say it to me, preferrably in a pm or in another forum.  Don't take it out on my guild that has nothing to do with it, or if you have a problem with my guild, which has done absolutelyfucking nothing to you.  Take it to our forums, don't take cheap bitch stabs at it here.  Seriously, grow up a little.

a little update on this clan. they have grown a ton since Link's post. Link, sadly, is no longer with us. but we do have tons of new members and are far from (small). since it's summer, we are all busy and are not quite as active, and recruitment is currently down due to overloading of members. (half of em are inactive... >.<) just to update, we're still here, and we are setting up a server still (we used to have one from TEAMMATEPing, but he is no longer with us.), in fact, I'M working on a server, because Russian_Emperor is sitting on his butt with a margarita and a fishing pole somewhere on a lake. (he said something about Pine Mountain.)
