I was bored one day and I decided to come up with another Tremulous class that has combonations of Human and Alien Structures/Weapons/Abilities.
I decided to invent the Robos.
The Robos are a class of Machine A.I.s' that were originally intended to go into battle INSTEAD of sending Human soldiers. Something went wrong with the Main CPU, and it decided to separate from the Humans to become its own faction. The Robo class has a class-based system, like the Aliens, with a combined credits system like Humans but they get UNs. U N stands for Upgrade Nanites. The amount of Nanites given for each kill depends on the server rules, but 160 Nanites=Weapon/Armor upgrade. 320 UNs=Class upgrade. Armor Upgrades give the Robo unit in question more resistance to damage. Weapon upgrades, on the other hand, are more complex. Most to all Robo Units have a melee attack and a long range weapon. The player can choose wether to upgrade the long range weapon or the melee weapon. With each Melee upgrade, the amount of damage given is raised. With a long range upgrade, the weapon changes (Depending on the class) to a more powerful weapon or just changes the damage.
As obvious, they have a building class like the aliens. It uses BP with the same amounts for the structures as the other classes. Its pretty much ripping off the

. Its called the Nanite Spreader. See, the Robos have different Nanites for each job. (I'll elaborate on that in a bit) The Nanite Spreader can do everything a

can do. For stage two and three, however, they get something like a rapid-fire Blaster.
The next class is The Scouter. They have a moderately powerful melee attack with something like a Lasgun with accelerated firing rate to its almost like a beam, but weakened enough to make it fair. As an added bonus, most all of the small Robo classes have an extra boost jump. When Jumping, press <
KEY OF YOUR CHOICE HERE > to add an extra boost.
Hopper: Even without the extra boost, this class has an incredible jumping ability. A moderately strong melee attack combined with a rifle like weapon mounted on it, it makes and excellent opponent! Instead of the boost, this class can wallhop like the Marauder.
Slasher: This class has only melee attacks, but they are EXTREMELY strong. With two Pain Saw like weapons for arms, the Slasher is a deadly Robo to face at close quarters.
This is where my ideas for classes run out. I am depending on
you to bring me ideas for other classes. If you can be bothered, that is...
Now the structures.
The equivalent to the RC and OM is the Main CPU (Or MCPU, or CPU). It is basically the same as the RC in the way that it zaps things that get close.
The Spawn is a small open sided box that uses Nanites to create the Robo from scratch.
The Armory is a Machine called the Upgrader (Ooh... imaginative) It works the same as the Armory. Nothing special.
The Turret is a floating hemesphere called a Laser Drone. It has 4 Laser guns on the sides and Antigrav jets that keep in time with the victim.
They Robos have regenerating health like Aliens so they don't need Medi like structures.
An entirely new idea however, is the Force Field generator. Place two on either side of a corridor or a room, and you have an impenetrable field. Robos, however can walk through it. It must be destroyed by other classes to pass through. You can only build one at a time, to avoid spam, so use it wisely.
Once again I leave it up too you to fill in the blanks.
I also said I would elaborate on the Nanites, so here goes:
The Nanites were invented by the humans as a method of repairing the unmanned Robos in the field. (Yes, I know I said unmanned. The Battlesuit is still under Human control) They also made specific kinds for different jobs. One thing that can be purchased is POISON NANITES. These Nanites infect the person hit by a melee attack of a Poison Nanite Robo. They die after 20 seconds, and do moderate damage. For Humans, a medkit will stop the infection, and for Aliens, you just have to wait for it to wear off. Building Nanites Build structures at a good pace, and get faster with Stage 2 and Stage 3. Upgrade Nanites Integrate the selected Upgrade into the Robo, taking about 5 seconds.
