why do you need them in .obj format? does texturing and animations matter? because there may be no way for you to get from .md3 to .obj without loosing texture and animation data.

I dont care about texture or animation. I want to be able to add detail in a program called Zbrush so that they would look less out of place in a live-action short.

But it doesnt import .md3 files.
I tried the importer scripts with several different versions, and it still didn't work. Im just really not very technically inclined, so can someone help me with this?

They work, you just need every single blender script file from XreaL.

Yeah they should have taken every file they made and converted it into every filetype known to mankind...  ::)

That is not a requirement of the CC-BY-SA license, though it would have been useful.

ohai, here are the .obj files from all the aliens, the textures may still load, but there is definately no animations. good luck with your project...

btw, there are many excess files in that .zip, didn't know what to take out...

I dont need .obj standard models anymore, this topic can serve no purpose. (plus, your program costs money and doesnt look too useful)  :grenade: END OF TOPIC
