How to get bots to run on your server?

ok, this is my first server... and I was wondering how do I create commands for my sever.  For example !strip.  That curently isn't a command nor is !rotation.  I was wondering if you had to make these commands yourself or if they were in some server package you had to download?

you need a qvm. You can make your own qvm if you know c, but i would stick with using other people's qvms.

I just got a qvm from the internet. It was Lakitu7's Tremulous 1.1 QVM 5.5. When I opened up my server, and typed exec server.cfg and did all of that jazz, I typed !admintest. The console did nothing and it only said !admintest, it also said that in the blue server box. And yes, the console was open. In my admin.dat, I have

[admin]
name    = Monkey2
guid    = 1010101010101010101010101010101010
level   = 5
flags   =  !@$#?%&+bAadybUcZdgLWhHkIlLDjiKMomenVSpGRNuvsBPhCbgKmSw*

and my name was Monkey2.
So, I should be able to type !admintest while the server is running right?

And one other thing. How can I make other people go onto my server, it is dedicated to the internet, but it does not show up there, only in local. I would like to play against other people, against myself gets a little boring.

name doesn't matter, GUID has  to be your GUID, and flags can just be *, not all that crap

Your server may well never show up in the internet list for you, lost of cheap routers fail at such things.
http://master.tremulous.net/list/ updates every 5 min and should show it if its being reported by the master.
If it's not there then its probably a firewall / nat.

ok, thanks.  what qvm would you sugest, for normal gameplay... mabe something with !strip, !revert, !slap... mabe not slap but strip and revert would be nice... and some bots...
Is there any qvm file that has all that?  if not what would you sugest?

He's referring to something the Wrath Newbie Training server uses. It's a handicap placed manually by admins on certain players.

When "stripped", a player is limited to dretch/normal basi/naked rifleman in S1 and can only get normal goon/shotgun/helmet in S2+S3 (plus builder/granger, including advanced versions).

This is done to avoid advanced players getting carried away and completely pulverising players who are new to Tremulous. Some people do it out of malice, some are killwhores, and even well-meaning people can sometimes get caught in the moment and forget what the WNT server is really about.

Kiwi, perhaps the Wrath forum is the best place to ask about !strip.

Alright, sorry.  I now relies that at wraths they have a customized game.qvm file.  I now have a question about bots...  I am using

but I still get the same error:
NET_CompareAdr: bad address type
NET_CompareAdr: bad address type
NET_CompareAdr: bad address type
NET_CompareAdr: bad address type
NET_CompareAdr: bad address type
over and over about 30 times

the bots then overflow and are kicked/leave
what is causing this/and how can I fix it?

But wheres the admin abusing fun in that? Stop putting logic into things David, you make it sound like its just an annoying and useless command. >:(

Honestly guys I think !slap shouldn't be used, but I fugured if a game.qvm file had !slap it would have the other stuff I would like too :)

But back on track... can anyone help me with my bots?

Because then you have to set cheats on whereas if you use slap you don't need to have cheats on.

If you don't have cheats on, then you shouldn't be cheating.
