Look now, just about everyone has been in AA at some point, it's not like I took a collection of just AA members.
Anger I know from Zubs, Yarou has led V since his AA days, GuyGun was taken from (><) because he didn't like their server administration. ExPowerRanger has been AoD and then V since then. Anyway, Hibby and Dustin were the only recently active AA members that were added to AoD.

You could equally argue that >< has a lot of AA in Freak, J-cool, until recently guygun, ZEL, 3of12, Blood, and K-otic.

My point is that I recruited many people who I believed could actually get us scrimming so we aren't just another idle clan. The goal was not to "gobble up" AA members or anything like that. Myth is just upset that I let Yahoo (who he doesn't like) into my clan without asking his permission.

As for AoD being predominantly Void at one point, it wasn't that AoD members joined void, it was the other way around. I had Powa, and then void members tried hardest to get into AoD, and succeeded more often.

For humor, more people in AoD have been in AA than you listed, including: Ozzy, Bezerk, Shade, Sinclair, and Volt.

It's interesting that at the start of Alcoholics Anonymous, early members included Freak, J-cool, Ziggie, Denton, Suvi, and RCHammer, who were all AoD members shortly before AoD died and AA began. We are even further connected by my ownership of the AA server. So that's the end of my history lesson for the day. It amuses me how often I fought against AA, only to find out later how intertwined our histories would be.

Now you know that's not why I left.  "Without asking his permission" bah, please.  I simply thought it would be a nice gesture to let your clan know that you are considering letting someone as controversial as Dustin into your clan, so you might get some input.  Hell, Ozzy, most of your clan didn't even know Dustin was even in AoD until I posted my resignation.

And by the way, Ozzy, people aren't criticizing you for getting only AA members.  They're criticizing you on the AA members which you chose to add into your clan.  There's a difference between the old AA members that are in other clans as opposed to the ones that are in your clan.  A big difference.

Anyway, Hibby and Dustin were the only recently active AA members that were added to AoD.

You forgot Shade and Guygun.... and yes Ozzy it's true everyone has been in AA at one point, I mean AA had like 50+ members in total if you count everyone that had been in it at one point...but AA had core members who basically stayed in the clan for a long time and played in pretty much all of the scrims...people like

dustin
shade
j-cool
hibby
bailey
freak
guygun
doogie
bug

These people pretty much helped run/keep the clan going at one point....and AoD is AAoD because you have 4 of those members, which isn't a bad thing...

I'ma put mah input in here.

I also got a free history lesson on teh clans. In all my years, I've never kept up with them, and often wondered where certain ones went.

IMO that would be a great project for the Void team:  Writing up a semi-accurate chronicle of the various clans since Tremulous has gone standalone.  (Who led what clan, membership, short blurb about it.)  I know that I would be interested in seeing something lke that, anyway.

I like this idea!

Let's start with Welcomed!

Welcomed: Created by WelcomedDread (me)

Roster: I forgot.

History: Created in summer of 07, the Welcomed clan members infected te popular Beer Garden server. Alas, they could not find enough warm bodies to infect, so they died. Leadership was handed over to some french dude.

Current Status: I have no idea.

Ok, joke aside, I seriously like teh idea. Not only would my knowledge be increased (I'm such a noob for not keeping up with the clans!) but it'd be something we all can contribute to!

With all the clans that have existed, it would be like an oversized dictionary. ;)
