First, gtfo out of every damn topic under the sun with your trying to denounce AoD. Just never say the word AoD again.

This topic was made to keep powa's topic unspammed but allow everyone free discussion over this. Now:

Not "everyone" is criticizing me. In fact, most of AoD itself is happy. Dustin hadn't been in the clan more than a couple days when you posted your resignation. He is not a holy-fuck-controversial player that you think he is: he is one of the best in the game.

The AA members I chose are yahoo(amazingly skilled and friend of mine for years now) and hibby (helps me run my server and is good at leading scrims. Also a badass welder.) This pissed off two people, people I've known barely two months, enough they had to leave. Demonic(who has constantly rebelled against me for various reasons) and myth (who needs to get over it.)

Flattire said something to the effect of "awesome," Bezerk was quite pleased, Bullseye was looking forward to scrimming, etc.

Noone cared when I auto-accepted AppleJuice, which turned out to be a huge mistake. Noone cared when I auto-accepted Alma or anyone. And the truth is, every member in AoD's acceptance was based on my opinion alone, so this should come as no surprise.

Yahoo and the gang give me a lot less drama. They don't bug me every three seconds with admin problems, or think I need to train them. They can handle scrims and the server with or without me, which is a huge improvement considering my college inactivity.

Secondly, Dustin had been in AoD for about a week, maybe a week and a half when I posted my app.

Thirdly, I was in AoD 3 months, and demonic was in AoD for atleast 4, so if you have only known him and myself for two of those months, I guess you're even more inactive than I thought you were.  To the issue of Flat and Bez, Flat is inactive, and the last time you scrimmed when Bezerk was on, you quickly replaced him and Bull with any and all of your new members that came online.  And I'm sure you pissed off more than just two people, Ozzy.

Fourthly,  AoD "itself is happy" because the unhappy members have either left the clan, or gone inactive.

Fifthly, Alma and Apple are both great players with great attitudes.  Dustin and Hibby lack one of those two traits.

You're wrong, and you have no place to speak for the other AoD members. Why would Bullseye (highly inactive) and Bezerk (just recently returning to trem) play over two of the greatest players in scrims? They both understood and moved to spec voluntarily. I *always* give players the option to play instead of myself, and the offer is always turned down. Apple's attitude, I'm not going to touch, but I prefer that of Dustin and Hibby. Alma's skill isn't awful, but again I prefer that of Dustin and Hibby.

AoD IS me, if I'm happy, AoD is happy, that's all there is to it. For those who support my styles of leadership, great, you might belong in AoD. For those who don't, goodbye.

You may have been in AoD 3 months, but that does not mean I could say comfortably that I "knew" either one of you that entire time.

Unhappy members who left include you and demonic, demonic was unhappy far before this recruiting move.

I still stand by my opinion that you should just never mention AoD again, since you clearly have no understanding of how it works, and clearly no understanding of who is happy and who is not.

As for Myth/Ozzy/AoD/People: Chill out. Decisions were made. Shit happens. I know how hard it is for a person like Ozzy to keep everyone in the clan happy and leading a clan as good as possible. Myth, you know I have nothing against you, but for one: Just try to imagine how hard it is to lead a clan well. What would you do if really good players who you know very well in-game become clanless, your roster is looking small and you are in need of a fresh rosta.

Though I do admit it wasn't very wise of Ozzy to not inform the other members, including me.
He could have done that better. But we can't do anything about it anymore now can we?

Myth, What would you do if really good players who you know very well in-game become clanless, your roster is looking small and you are in need of a fresh rosta.

If they had a crappy attitude, I would prefer to not have that in a clan of mine.  If it were players with good attitudes along with their skill, then I would most likely bring them in, sure.  Although, I would at least notify my clan that I am considering bringing in x player in the clan.

I don't like dustin or most of those guys, but I wouldn't of quit AoD for them joining probably.  I quit a while back, for personal reasons with life and dislike with some of the members over continuel issues that I tried to work out first.  I still <3 Ozzy and talk to him daily, but I don't have much respect for his clan.

For example, one of his "skilled members" was on AA and was bored of the game.  Whats the best solution?  Nade your own base of course!  He nades the base and so Wireddd bans him for 10 days for it.  Now, the solution for that, is to get another AA, err I mean AoD Member to get on and ban me for banning him for base nading when I wasn't even the person who banned him.  Luckily I got unbanned and apologized to, I hope Wireddd didn't get banned, I should probably check that.


Oh well, <3 Ozzy, <3 sinclair, <3 bullseye, <3 Bezerk, <3 Desp, <3 DaZ, and the other AAAoD members can do as they please I guess, just as much good as bad in AoD.


Also, void can provide you guys some better forums than that, if you'd like, ad free.

About the AAAoD thing. This happens all the time. Half of the old NT| are now in (><). A big part of Zilla went to NT| and back. These are just 2 examples but I think you know where I'm going.
It's exactly the same thing. The AA/AoD thing was that a small group of members who were/have been AAs all became AoD at *about* the same time.

I personally think all this 'AA!!=AoD!! *whining* is mainly because a part of the newer members are disliked by .... you know who.

Yes, but those AA people who joined AoD really stand out, and they are undeniable all the skill of AA.  They also came at once in a pack motion and they have a terrible reputation preceding them.  Oh well, I still like AoD, just not those 4 or 5 members.

I'm glad, because Apple, Powa, and Soldier were the sole reasons I joined AoD last year.  I don't give a fuck about your drama, and I give even less of a fuck about Myth, just continue to keep Apple out of it, because he's one of my favorite members of the Tremulous community.
