ofc i use teamspeak with my friends but when i play FFA i cant say to anybody cuz nobody from server i play is in our TS channel?

Dolby last posted in this thread like a year ago, and saying all the sounds in the game suck isn't a great way to make friends and influence people.

Also, Tribes 2 was a commercial game, part of a family of sequels, and thus, well-funded and practically co-developed by a paying and involved community. It better have had good voice work, otherwise it would not have stood any chance against the Unreal or Quake dynasties (its real competition in the online team scifi shooter semi-tactical multimode circa 2000 game market).

Tremulous is a free, open source game. Please don't confuse yourself that there are anywhere near the same resources brought to bear on the respective projects.

On Topic: @humancontroller: 25 guys worked on Tribes 2; I count 13 on Tremulous; that's 2:1 just in number of people, not to mention the Tribes guys were getting paid. Apples & oranges, my friend...

Oh, on topic, Tribes had a great voice command menu. Much better than ANYTHING in UT, or even Q3a for that matter.

oh well, I already lost several years of my life playing Tribes: Renegades
it probably for the best
don't need to get addicted to that again
sure did love laser-sniping and headshot animations, though
I once shot the pilot in an AirWars match
and got to see four heavies CTRL-K
greatest moment of my gaming life
still gives me a full-on robotic chubby just thinking about it
I saw the Starsiege: 2845 guys gave up finally
maybe Legends will survive
what's the latest tribes iteration?

time for a new windows box, I guess
hope they don't have anymore silly hardware restrictions
they need to get in the 21st century and get multiplatform with that tribes shit

On Topic: umm... yeah I made several suggestions a few pages back and I don't think anybody is going to code any voice commands anytime soon
