Aliens are made to be stronger; their hunters. One alien beats two humans any day. Have you noticed alien defenses suck in comparison?
Just don't go alone, humans are good in groups and if you're on the right map, aliens are usually spread out more. If not, shotgun always works nice in close confrontations

It seems like you haven't played on the alien team much. Battle suits don't go alone (maybe you do) and are worthy opponents to the tyrant. Especially if your me and have a hard time hitting humans that kite xD
melle attack it is good to improve battlesuit, it would be an improvement for the defense.
The humans forte is their ranged weapons while the aliens forte is their melee attacks. Giving humans both ranged and melee isn't fair at all, this isn't halo. It seems like you're trying to make a one man army. You have to remember, humans are kind of meant to work in a team.
players using bs, need to come back more times toward base, or to camp.
Yes humans have to restock on bullets. This is not a design flaw

Try a korx server. They have more weapons and more aliens.
Humans:
+health regeneration (all humans get slow health regeneration)
+surge (20% more power for las gun, mass driver, lucifer cannon?, xeal)
+biokit (faster health regeneration and makes you more immune to disease, but not fully)
+light armor (it's free!)
+helmet (makes you more immune to disease and prevents balisks dizzy spray)
+jetpack (now has fuel; no more sky campers!)
+cloak (invisibility)
+ammo pack (extra non-energy bullets)
+shotgun (right click shoots grenades; takes two bullets and not as powerful as a grenade itself)
+mass driver? (right click ability to zoom. Like a sniper. Is that new?)
+pulse rifle (right click shoots a super bullet)
+xeal (similar damage to lucifer cannon. bullets bounce off walls and are very dangerous to all team members but aliens as well; better to go alone when using a xeal in my opinion.)
Aliens:
+disease (can infect all humans who come into contact that aren't protected against it. Lasts longer then regular poison and is quite annoying. Also known as "aids"

+granger (spit snares opponents [sticks them to the ground])
+adv granger (same as granger with other adv granger abilities)
+battle granger (same as adv granger but stronger. Better for aiding other team members as apposed to going alone)
+adv dretch (bright green and easy to spot but has twice the health and can pounce. Also spreads disease)
+adv balisk (turns invisible when you stand still. when you touch a booster your are invisible even while moving for a period of time. Around 30 seconds is my estimate)
+adv marauder (constant low damage electricity, very affective because of their ability to evade bullets. can also spit like dragoons but are much less powerful)
+adv dragoon (now available in s2 to prevent human camping)
+tyrant (gives other aliens a healing buff? Has much more hp then a regular tyrant. Is also stronger and has the ability to spit. It's spit only recharges with a booster and the tyrant only gets one but it's area of affect is large and it's damage can be devastating to human bases.)
I'm sure I missed something.
Not to mention all the other added gameplay features like lower gravity and new player models.
The moral to this story is, the tremulous developers aren't going to add this stuff. This game is open source meaning anyone can make their own server and add the stuff they want in the game. Their out there you just got to look.
