Baconizer sounds like a nice guy. I didn't loose my job found out it was on my USB. I have no idea on what the "cmd" thing does. I think we've all learnt a lesson. Don't trust anyone on the net. I won't be trying to restore my files. Thanks for offering websites to help. I believe after a week, unban him. Doubt he'll do it again. Hopefully he's learnt his lesson. Giving up Tremulous. Thank you and you shall never see me again. Let's face it we were all "Noobs" and we all make mistakes.
Sorry about offending people, if i had of kept my mouth shut prehaps this wouldn't of happened.
@BaconatorPlease don't get peoples trust and then throw them in the dirt. After the first command i believe you should have stopped. It sounded like you were sticking up for me. I was wrong. Hope you get another chance on this forum. Please don't do it to someone else.
I hope bacon can read this and then reply.

Yes, reduce the ban to 5 years Should be enough

he wont lose much, since then we will be whining about changes in 1.3

Also, I have no idea why you don't want to recover your files, since most (if not all) programs let you select which recoverable files you want to recover. + longer you wait, less files you will be able to recover. If you notice something important is missing after, lets say, few months you will lost it forevar.

Seriously though, it's very kind of you to forgive him. Ultimately though, it's up to the admins whether they want to let him back after what he did. There's no doubt in my mind that what he did was wrong.

I don't quite understand this whole quitting business though. I hope you have a better reason than having a bad experience which indirectly associated with Tremulous. Are you sick of trem?

You just had a little bad experience with a member of the community, not the end of the world, Tremulous need players, don't throw all your experience and your gameplay to the thrash, all the players are a valued part of our community, even the noobs, someday -If you give it all- you will be pro enough to pwn more people than anyone, also to make more good friends, we all have/had bad experiences with trem but didn't give up and we are happy.

However, I feel sorry for you two and I hope that it turned to be a constructive experience.

You should have taken the course "INTERNET 101". Although it is a course for beginners, it starts with some basic concepts then quickly dives into the deeper ones.

Why do you think they even listen to what I say? Because I'm probably the biggest noob on the forums, yet they still read what I say before flaming me. Not to mention that when I actually play trem, I normally do very well. I have, through my many experiences of getting flamed, made some really good friends *looks to moose*. It's a great game and a great community. Even if you just spectate a game and talk to people, you will have a great time. Bacon was never really a nice person in my opinion, so when he did something stupid, I was happy he got banned (I'll get flamed for that later), but what made me sad was to see that bacon had also taken someone down with him. That's just stupid, you shouldn't let this bad experience ruin the chance of an even better experience. Just stay in trem for ONE month, see how you like it.

Tremulous is a drug. You say you'll quit, you delete all your files and go cold turkey. I can guaruntee you'll be back in a year, maybe less. Tremulous is a high, only without side-effects. See you in a few months bud!
