Thursday at AA- custom maps

Hi peoples of Tremulous.

This Thursday is my birthday. I have class on Friday, so no binge drinking to celebrate (at least not until the weekend ), but instead I'll be on AA.

I felt like doing something special, so here's what's going down:

1. I'm going to remove all the bans from admin.dat. If you're banned but want to join in, feel free.
2. I'm going to run only custom maps, from UTCS and Gloom2beta2 to ATCS upside down. If you have any maps you'd like to see played out, let me know before Thursday!
3. If enough good players are on at a time, we might do a few pickup games on custom maps.
4. If we get bored with custom maps, we will glitch build or just generally fool around in default maps.

Make sure you have an updated client with autodownload enabled, or you might miss out on some maps!

Yeah, I know this is likely to kill my server population for a day, but fuck it. I plan to pretty much do this all Thursday, with the exception of an hour that I have class.

I like the idea of this. User made maps sadly do not get anywhere near the playing time they deserve, so I'm glad to see this. I'll most likely show up for some time, and I decided to help spread the word.   I posted a notice on the Tremulous Xfire community site, so people can see that, and on the day of Thursday all 110 members will get a little dialog box informing them of the event.

My personal advice is for that day at least, set the max playable slots up to 32, instead of the usual (24?). I'm not sure why it's usually like this, but for this event I suggest maxing it up to 32, as I doubt people would like to sit in spec waiting for a slot.
