I have tried it, we played all last night. If it stays the way it is I have to say it would be horrible. I am hoping this "beta" is actually a beta and changes are made based on informed players, most of which will come from this section(the players)

Right now the range nerf on most the aliens and the additional dodge feature on humans makes humans very hard to beat. In our games last night we had some pretty even teams and aliens got stomped 98% of the time.(The devs mentioned they were aware of this. Which is a good sign)

hmmm, if balance was realllly screwed up then i would think this section has a need to get pissed.  hopefully once its closer to release balance will not be an issue.  ive always thought it backwards to try and balance new features before they are in the game.  make changes/add new stuff first, and then balance the impacts.  but considering the pace tremulous likes to take to develop, this could be a legitimate concern.

It's funny, hovels weren't really used by players when they were around, but now people like you appreciate the true worth of this silly building. Me, I just like using it to tk grangers when they pop out of the hovel.
