Tremulous wallpaper - WIP

I'm making a Tremulous wallpaper and I'd like to hear your opinions before I proceed further and add characters and logo.

My questions: Should I add logo at all? I will probably not be doing a different background, this took quite some time, but I can adjust it heavily. Would you like it darker? I will probably calm the lightning on the ground to give more focus on characters. Speaking about characters, what kind of protagonists would you like to see?

If you'd like the sky in different color or if you think there should totally be a battlesuit (or any other suggestion), just post.

I think that it would look good without a logo, just as a scene on some battlefield.
And I think a mara would be an awesome choice in the alien because of the mara's generally creepy/awesome look.

I would give a opinion, but right now I'm too stunned at the picture to say anything.

Question though, you haven't went into detail about where the lightning would be placed. Is the lightning be comming from the logo or the clouds? I'm pretty sure you mean the clouds, but honestly those clouds don't look like the kind that contains lightning, maybe if it was a little more grey/darker.

yes the awesome picture says it all /opinion Yes logo discretely but nothing else don't ruin it with those 1.1 models!

Did you use a landscape photo as part of this? I ask because it looks very realistic in parts.

I think I'd prefer a subtle hint of tremulous on the actual landscape. Perhaps a lone marauder or dragoon looking off a cliff into the distance.

Thanks for feedback everyone. I started adding a marauder but I couldn't get it to look right. I might try later again when the mood is right.
