i have doom2 and made a mod but occasionaly  , the "charictors" who i attempt to replace  , when i use the black color ,dosent work! also , all i use is wintex and ms paint , anyhing eaiser?

Gimp would be much better then Mspaint, and Wintex is one of the best tools you can find, but try searching for a alternative called "Wad Mangle". Also, if your using these tools I highly suggest getting DeHacked to modify your mod even further.

But your first question was beyond my level of understanding, would you kindly repost it in a more user-friendly manner?
