Um, they are making one. It's in the middle of production. It's all internet apps though, not really anything client-side.

Windows and Linux, and why anybody cares so much about what OS other people use I have no idea.

I care because shallow elitism is the sole criteria when I'm choosing what OS to use.

Yeah, that's right. And what surprised me, is the command being written on it (rm -rf /).

Well if you think the ailens can read human data, then it might be a good idea if you're being overrun. Although for completeness' sake, in that case I'd suggest

dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/sda

obviously, this command results in severe data loss when run, do not try this at home.

The only reason I'd really get a mac is for the video and audio editing. They're just too pricey for me. For the same amount of money as the bare-bones macbook I can get a decked out core i5 or core i7 Win7 laptop.

No benefit for video editing nowadays.
As far as I can see the only reason "artsy" people still use macs is inertia and because they are too thick to use a real computer.

Right now I play trem on XP but Im trying to get Linux set up. More specifically , Fedora Core 11 since I already had it.
Speaking of which, I am able to run trem in linux but I get much lower fps than I should. In XP i get about 250 where in FC I get about 40-50. Anyway I determined that the problem is my openGL driver. I have my graphics card driver installed correctly and apprently some version of opengl was installed with it. I am able to run glxgears in the terminal and what not, but I guess the driver isnt supported by trem or something. Im pretty sure that the highest version of opengl that my card supports is 3.2 and I can't seem to find older versions of it anywhere, just 4.0. Anyone happen to have any ideas?
