The Overmind Has Awakened!

Could the OM finishing building be CP'd to the team just like the OM being attacked or dying is?

It would be helpful to actually know when it's up without being right next to it.

It would be nice to hear the "Overmind has awakened" everywhere. Besides, aren't all aliens connected by a hivelink anyways?

Yes, a text notification would be nice. Remember however that the Overmind voice can be heard by humans (but only the awakening message). I once found the om in a running match because a granger built it above me, and as I walked under I heard, "The Overmind has Awakened!" so I killed the granger (sorry friend) and we won the match.

I agree, would lessen the spam in binds and console too and let the builder concentrate on building.

It glows more when near eggs/OM
When there is no OM, it goes totally off

Too Vague. How about, in the lower centre of the HUD, there is an overmind icon that is roughly the same size/kind as the current alien icon. It changes color to show OM status. If the overmind is down, it turns black.

not really. that way it shows where you get better regen rates. and when you totally lose it you understand something went wrong.

The Red cross next to your health number allready does that (tells you when you're on creep)

I'd rather just have it center print and play the audio clip.
It would be utilizing existing assets and it would be more noticeable.
