Someone else was playing my account and now I'm banned for 10 days?

F50 banned me for decon, idk why...

Mustachio was using my computer and I was in the kitchen eating cake, I come upstairs to play and I'm banned. Umm... what happened?

If it was my username's fault it would be Mustachio, and I seem to be banned by IP...

Yeah um. I have a demo of it if you want to see it. They won literally immediately after.

And why is it ban by IP instead of the account that was actually at fault? They knew that that was him and the one that said deadbeat was me. GAH.

Yeah, we thought it was mustachio, but had no other way of dealing with it. He was using your GUID too, so changing you're IP won't help. I'll try to resolve this via PM, but it'll be sorta messy. The fact is, if someone else uses your GUID there isn't much I can do about it but ban you for the time being and try to work it out with you later.

I removed the qkey so that it would be a different GUID... And we had both been on at the same time when I was using my original one...

He's not allowed on again.

And I even removed the qkey again to see if I could get on and explain, and it still said I was banned.

Alrighty, this matter has been mostly fixed, but I can't ban moose himself unless he gets on. In his defense however it didn't change the final result of that game, since it was almost, but not quite in the hunting stage. The overmind was down at the time and our (the aliens) original base was completely demolished. So it seems he didn't have particularly malicious intentions, although I don't know fully what to make of that considering it was a blasted decon.
