Tyrant charge stopped in mid = no more tyrant

It just doesn't make any sense, here's the situation:
1. do a charge and release it
2. get stopped by an alien or a bsuit
3. try using the normal attack
4. the tyrant doesn't do anything until the sound of charging is stopped making him vulnerable even to non-armoured blasters.
