« on: August 02, 2010, 07:06:47 pm »
well, i was playing around in console and found the command /music
when i typed it in, it asked for the music and loopfile. i thought to get a music, i had to make a music file in the same folder that base is in and paste it there, but idnt work. how do i make it work?
(the error is it couldnt find it)
these are stupid suggestions, don't even waste our time.
I don't like your negative attitude.

iirc it's a relic from the Quake # days, where the CD had audio tracks on it. Pretty sure CD emulation with a folder was built into the engine after the F/OSS release. Check Google if you really want to find it - I don't even know if it works on Trem.

It works, for example:
Code: [Select]
/music sound/ambient/fan sound/ui/heartbeatwill play the fan sound once and then keep looping the default menu music.
When using /music with only 1 sound file it will loop that one.
/stopmusic stops it.

Editing data.pk3 invalidates your client.

Anyway, read the error, don't ask questions. It clearly states that the file is not 22kHz Stereo.
