What reasons do you play Trem for?

Just wondering. Since the discussion seems to be in the air. I play because I like aliens. I also like the color scheme. Just so you know.

I play because of the rts and fps feel.  I also enjoy how building heavily influences gameplay, so every game can be different (other fps games like cod depend fully on who's playing).  I also enjoy how aliens are so different from humans, but still are quite balanced. I also love how it's opensource, with a great community. Hurray Tremulous

Variety. Trem combines several great elements into one awesome delicious free package. Both 1.1 and GPP are drastically different, which is even better.

I saw a link to Trem on the Minecraft (also a fun game) forums under the topic of "Awesome Free Games".  I decided to check it out, because reading the about page, it seemed pretty amazing.  I like the fact that it is both an FPS and a bit of an RTS at the same time.

The models and graphics remind me of Turok, another game I used to love to play.

The only game I play is Tremulous. No other games appeal to me. Occasionally I might play Monster Hunter Tri for a bit. And also my clan mates are pretty cool people to chill with.

learning curve. once you learned how to play, its hard to move on. hell, we fought hard not to get dizzy of wallwalk and experimenting with the features.

Have you considered the medical profession? Specifically, you could be a surgeon. Then you'd get payed to tear ppl up

I used to have half life 2 deathmatch and the orange box so i like to play something similar

I started playing because it ran on linux, and looked pretty decent. There was humans I could start on, then graduate to the more complex gameplay of aliens. I play now 'cause I haven't found a suitable replacement (and I'm getting reasonable at aliens now)
