Mara+ should have to recharge like goon+ does with barbs

As for Adv. Mara VS. Goon: I'm always gonna consider a Mara the class with more POTENTIAL to pwn. Though, going up against pro-dancers (especially a cluster of them), I still find the pounce a much more reliable "oh-shit!" clinch-weapon compared to the zap.

Now, if I get a bunch of noob-to-moderate humans lined up in a row who haven't quite figured out how to dodge yet, I'm gonna be thankful for that Mara and his badass head-hopping ability.

Sorry I haven't been on the boards much, lately(...or the GPP server for that matter). Real life has just been keeping me busy.

I see your point, Reapd, and it might just be a case of bad aim plus unlagged servers. Though, there's some players who I'd consider "moderate humans", simply because they've clocked enough hours on 1.1 to know how to play efficiently in most respects, but who are still new enough to GPP that they can't easily dance with the revamp Mara. Not yet, anyway...

I've also seen quite a few confident Humans running around on GPP who know HOW to dodge, just not when or where. Then again, I remember going up against you on 1.1 servers and my Mara getting danced around without "dodge" even being an OPTION, so maybe you don't suck as bad as you think you do

Can't be bothered reading the replies. Anyways i disagree, but i wish to bring back the old marauder zap from 1.1 as it isn't as powerful. It seems like adv marauder is worth a lot more than a normal goon.

WHAT?! Take away my marazap, but that's _the_ best bit of GPP! A good goon can pounce their way through so many humans, marazap takes a lot longer to kill anyone and works best with multiple maras.

Only in Base-raid/huge group situations. In 1v1 fights, Goon generally > Mara+
