Change the menu backround ingame?

How can I change the picture in the main menu to one of my own pics...

you will need to make a mod. look around in data.pk3 file for the backround images, edit them, and put them in a mods folder. then, click mods and press the name of your mod.

EDIT: same for music. you can make it play i think from my knowledge anything, like even pokemon theme song.

Currently making a script that integrates your music player into trem.  i think I'll support itunes, rhythmbox, and maybe banshee.

Look into volts hud, and look at how he does different backgrounds and how he does switching of the backgrounds.

If you're on 1.1, the most simple way of doing it is by installhing his hud

Then just replacing his images with yours, but keeping the same name

his images are located in ui/hud/assets/menu
