Fading crosshairs
« on: October 02, 2010, 09:41:09 pm »
Alien crosshairs tend to disappear in red places. Humans lost their crosshair when they try to shot something flying in the blue sky (especially in Nintendo Land). Frustrating isn't it?

Well I know that many players turn the crosshair off because they can be pinpoint accurate without it. Maybe I'm the first who complain about it?

There are HUDs with different crosshairs and colours. You may even modify the default tremulous HUD to have a crosshair colour of your liking.

In the hud I made for myself it has a red dot for precise aiming and a green circle around it to ensure i don't lose the sight of the crosshair. Huds are easy to make so perhaps you could try something like that?

I can't play on the official servers if I modify the default theme only on the Unlimited CZ (v1.2)

How exactly are you 'modifying' it? And do you get any error / anything in console when connecting to official servers?
