I've been waiting for 1.2 for 4 years or so ...
Some people maybe more.
Last time I played tremulous, my computer crashed so hard I had to buy a new GFX Card,
So I decided to stop playing Tremulous untill 1.2 final comes out.

I had no problem running trem with a high framerate,
but on 1.2 gpp every once in a while, my computer crashed and had to reboot, and another time, it crashed and never rebooted, I had to buy a new GFX card, though i'm bored to wait for 1.2 anyway :/

Software isn't going to cause the failure of your hardware, well maybe sc2?, i think it's safe to assume that it's probably coincidence. If you're bored of waiting then go and play something else entirely, forget that trem ever existed, it'll be a nice surprise when you eventually notice the epic release of 1.2 in the media.
