Player count

Could we have a smaller max playercount on the official servers? The 39/42 games aren't just fun and the Europeans might just start using the Euro server like they used to do. I don't believe it's worth a thing to see if 20v20 games are balanced?

Who

I think large games are pretty fun.

Qrntz

Big games are fun. I am though sometimes annoyed by the queue to medi/armoury.

YES!!!

Kiwi

Having 2 us servers with half the limit would be much better imho.  and I agree that the euro server should be used more.

swamp-cecil

i find long games fun, although they have disadvantages;
medi queue (they should heal the player with the least hp first, then switch the the new least player ETC)
cant kill a french fry with bassy.

long gmes are good for watching your team fight and pick out dretches with your MD

these are stupid suggestions, don't even waste our time.
I don't like your negative attitude.

CorSair

We need only few idlers in EU server :P
And one odd thing: most who are from European area, likes to stay in US server...

Most people like to play on populated servers.

With advanced map rotations fixed/completed we should be able to limit the amount of big games played on inappropriately small maps, which should help somewhat.

Lakitu7

Yeah, I agree. Let's try that before we think about changing playercounts or opening more servers.

Sir|Fluffalot

I'm from europe and the community on the us server is better + there are more players

jm82792

That sounds nice having code in the server that analyzes the amount of players the last game and appropriately removes the chance of it selecting a tiny map or the inverse situation.

yes. nothings worse than huge teams on atcs... or 2 people per team on porycon

F50

Actually, I don't mind huge atcs games, its a bit crowded, but playable. Of course, I have a serious bias towards smaller maps.

Cadynum

US often starts to lag when there are a lot of players close to each other.
As long as it cannot handle a big player count it shouldn't accept it either.

Like someone mentioned, limiting US might spout some popularity to EU again, which would be great for us non-Americans who don't like to be humans all the time.

Meisseli

Ugh, when the server is full and every human is using chainsuit... like watching a slideshow.

KillerWhale

I never have much of a problem, even with the highest player counts.

I don't see a real reason to lower it.

How battlesuit can affect fps/lag?  ???
Chainsuit does, and basicly just the chaingun.

Loki

Because of muzzleflash?
Ignore my posts for I had identity crises.
