the dretch is too easy a target. I know threads like these are noobish, but i want to give feedback.
so, me and some random guy (an unsopported claim) where playing together. He was killing my base with a rifle in tremor and many other maps, but every time i ran at him, in less than a second he would kill me.
The dretch is either too small, to slow, deals too little damage or the rifle is too strong.
the dretch, in my opinion should be a tad smaller, +0.2 percent to his speed and headshots on helmetless should instantly leave them at 4hp like in 1.1.0
because seriously, you know how easy it is to hit a dretch with a massdriver at close range. he was just at the end of the hallway shooting at my base.
feedback, no trolling, because i am an experienced player and I KNOW what im talking about.

Imo, it's pretty balanced. Are using wall-walk at all? Running towards an enemy is going to get you nowhere as a :dretch:; unless you can get head shots constantly and your on a small map. It's much easier to flank in 1.2 because of the turrets. Even if the :human:s are stage 3 I still find it easy to run in their base, kill someone, and stroll on out. So no need for a speed increase. The :dretch: was made larger because it was too hard to see, so making it smaller again would just cause a balance issue. The MD is pretty easy to dodge with wall-walking and quick changes in movement; the same goes with dodging the other weapons.

I don't know where you heard that from but the model was made larger only because it wasn't the same size as the hitbox. And we also had the hitbox smaller for a long time but that was basically unworkable.

I still think the rifle is too strong, especially because it's free and all.  I've expressed this previous here and here, among other places.

Yeah it's good against dretches but puny against say a goon
( talk about getting slaughtered continuously unless you camp with a riffle) or anything bigger.
Maybe a stage 2 riffle, because if we make this current one weak then getting to the 2nd stage will be more critical than before.

the rifle isnt meant to be used like that its meant to be used until you can afford better just like the dretch

i agree with kiwi the rifle could be nerfed a little it is OP atleast looking at its alien equal(the dretch)

Why not make dretch stronger? It might even give some people to play aliens more if they can actually get evos by killing with dretch.

The biggest "problem" with the dretch is that it can only display its strengths effectively when it's not being shot at, but is almost completely useless when it is. A lone decent rifle will kill 2-3 dretches regardless of their movements, and stealth is pretty useless against anyone who knows where the bound their dodge key. But it becomes a major annoyance when it's allowed some freedom, like if someone's shooting at structures or larger aliens. It's so easy for random noobs to use now because they can hit the head and body without even having to do anything, so groups of them just kill you even if they're just swarming at random. In short, the dretch is both a shitload harder and a shitload easier, based completely on situation.
