Just wanted to share this with you, there's a Xmass promo for the game Natural Selection 2, They give you 2 keys to activate through steam for the price of one!
So this means that you can either be some generous guy and give the other key to a friend, or like I did, divide the bill by 2 ! =D
I installed it already and beside the fact that it laggs because it's still a beta, it's AWESOME !

Here's a video to make you drowl :

There will probably be one later when the game will be officialy released and when they will have time to do it, don't tell a game sux because it doesn't work on linux... that's a very immature reaction.

Tremulant

That does look very impressive, of course i've no interest unless a linux port materialises. Oh, and what's all this pay to play our beta nonsense, we're seeing more and more of it.

It's because it's an indie game studio, they have no big companies to give them money, so by purchasing their game you help them developping it.

Yeah I though of that at first, it does have some similarities, but the gameplay is  totally different, Wich is a good thing, cause both are great addictive games!
(wel, I didn't like the first Natural Selection at all, but this one is realy a lot better)

Buy?!? What? ???

I'm never purchasing for games, because there are some great games hidden in the world of Internet.

... Okay, I can admit that if it is great game, and has great replay value, then I might purchase it.
And I can admit that trailer looks great, though I am immune to (most) commercials.

If I can get my hands for free trial version, then I could test it. Trailers shows promises, but not the truth. This should be remembered when you buy new game.
(But I think most would torrent game )

For what I remember, it was long before first Natural Selection came. But it was long time ago, can't remember specifics of the history of Trem.

I think both Tremulous and Natural Selection are based on Gloom, a mod for quake 2.

I saw some sort of game play trailer, and it seems that the game play, at least is completely different to trem.

The models however... I cracked up when i saw a granger look-a-like in the video.
