Admins and teamvote visibility
« on: February 13, 2011, 03:51:58 pm »
Would it be possible to make admins able to see the teamvotes the other team makes when he or she is playing?

It would be handy for numerous situations - including this one when two clanmembers gang up to votekick a player for no reason at all.

That's untrue, it prints a message that the vote was called if you're on spec.

I don't see why not to do this; there's nothing in teamvotes that really gives away important information.
I don't even see a reason for teamvote kicks, they're more abusable than anything else.

Indeed, most people don't know how to vote properly with them. While there is a good reason for this, people from the other team who cannot possible know about someone tking can't vote, in practice it just means nobody (blast you no one!) votes. And wow, that was a dick move on the {%} clanmembers part.

Nah, that's not hard. I used to do it in the game.qvm. It was a good idea then and it's a good idea now.

Okay, implemented (I had to do it all over for trunk pretty much because the game.qvm code is too ancient) and queued up to be committed if people don't object.

I like to see this implemented.

But anyways, care should be taken, when you are about to canceling vote on other team.
Never know if there was bleeder or basenader on other team...
