so I was playing in the EU sever and my bro was playing and he spammed jet over and over .... got mute and all was good, but an admin imo that shouldn't be able to use his powers so freely to his liking decided to kick him to (there was also no warning or asking for him to stop spamming)... there was no need for the kick ... tremulous already doesn't have a lot of people playing it .. It doesn't help that there are admins just ban who ever they please .. In doing so hes hurting the community on an already dieing game this is sad to see that people like this are getting admin rights.

Well first of all it wasn't me, and this attitude it what makes people not wanna play this game .. your all to high and mighty ... which Is why this community is dieing.

The mute probably should have been enough. I'll occasionally mute people if they don't stop spamming (after a warning or two), but a kick seems like a bit much, especially without a warning. Hell, I even put up with PCNobody!
On the other hand, I wasn't there, and a condump isn't necessarily damning evidence.
As for the warning, if someone keeps spamming without showing signs of stopping, some people just do a brief mute (then unmute), if it seems like it'll be more effective than warning them the usual way (read: if they don't think they'll listen).

What doesn't help tremulous is people constantly spamming, whining and insulting each other alienating any sane players. Any attempt at real communication and teamwork is buried behind the constant flow of pointless spam. There was also several warnings about using non-game related binds that game.

anyway, i'm fairly sure the server rules have "no spamming" in there somewhere...*checks*  yep, #6.

i see a lot of spamming, most of it irratating.  ONE "grenade" is enough.  ONE "RUSH!" is enough.  ONE "DEFEND!" is enough.  i got disconnected from the server the other day because at the end of the map, about 3-4 people decided to find out just how much they could tap a spam-bound button.

if you pulled that shit right there on any server i was running, get banned, not just kicked.

I really have to agree that this is abusive, and should be, at the very least, frowned upon by senior admins, and at the very most, dealt with by slapping Cadynum on the wrist somehow.
