Teamkill from explosion (Bug) And Grenade Door
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:53:07 pm »
(This happend on a clan server. This may be allready fixed and that server is/was using an older QVM)
When as an alien, it is possible to kill human structures. However, if the explosion of the buildable explodes and kills an alien buildable, it will say that that buildable was Teamkilled by the person who blew up the human structure. Because of this, I would infer that if you make a builable blow up and that kills a teammate, you will get a TK on your tremstats (remember me?) record.

The other glitch was on the official servers. I recall being on the alien team in niveus when a human dropped the grenade on top of the lowered door. When the door went up, the grenade went halfway up with it and starting jumping really fast and spamming the bounce noise. Because it was higher off the ground, it was able to reach the non-nadeable structures and a granger.

There was another bug but I don't remember it off the top of my head.
these are stupid suggestions, don't even waste our time.
I don't like your negative attitude.

(1) I've never seen a structure killed by another buildable's explosion say whover killed the first buildable that killed second one made the second one say it was killed by the person who killed the first one.
If you don't get what i just said, don't bother reading it again.

(2) I thought if you dropped a nade on a ele going upwards, it stops bouncing and goes through the ele, the dropping below the ele once the ele has passed the nade. Shouldn't it be stuck in the door if the door moves up? Also, i don't remember any doors in niveus that opens downwards. (goes down to open)

1. Im not sure about the elevator thing, but if that is true it is a bug.
2. It does get stuck in the door. The door goes up and the nade goes up with it, however the nade only goes halfway up.
3. There are no downwards doors in niveus.

When you said the nade went up, usually it would happen if the object moved up while the nade on top of it, so i thought you meant a door that opens downwards and didnt quiet understand. Now that you comfirm that there are 'no downward opening doors' in niveus, let me ask my other question: How did you get the nade in the door? (how else does the door drag the nade up?)
