Option to ignore spec chat

The sound that is made every time someone doesn't use teamchat gets really annoying if you have spectators talking up a storm.
I can easily not view it with a quick click, but I can't mute the sound that I continually get.
Why not make it so the sound can be muted?

this is a good suggestion.  expanding on it, it would be nice to be able to disable sounds for teamchat, global chat, and chat from spectators.  meaning, a seperate option/switch for each.

I think you should never be able to ignore team chat entirely.
No sound maybe, but never no text.
