Moose: I'm sorry I /putteamed you.  As Supertanker said, a bit more communication from you would have been helpful up-front, but I admit that I did indeed somewhat-overstep my admin-bounds with those /putteams, and for that I apologize.

Not that I'm against admin demotion. (I think the entire server needs to be wiped.) But do you really believe that this whole debacle isn't enough to make someone think twice before trying this again?

Again, c'mon. Exaggeration. "taking over the server"?  I /putteamed someone a few times for slaughtering innocent grangers, in *one* game.  seriously.

Did I?  I'm pretty sure it was someone else who muted you -- I don't think it was me. But regardless, that was after we were already playing and you'd already started shooting everybody -- I was actually talking about much earlier.  (see supertanker's post to which I was referring)

If the Powers That Be decide that's what's appropriate here, then so be it.  I honestly think that's ridiculous, but I'm not going to spend any more effort arguing this.

Does anyone remember Pure Tremulous? Remember how little the admins had to step up to the plate? Remember how few admins there were in relation to the players?

Remember how PURE it was?

I would love to see US1 like that again.

Hi, this is a server where people can connect and play Tremulous whenever they want to. That means Tremulous, not some imagined ruleset where certain things are not allowed because a few people who are on at the time think so. Admins are around to ensure that that happens, not actively prevent it from happening. Those admins are no longer admins now.

Don't use admin powers without good reason. It's right in the rules. This is clearly not good reason.

We really don't need multiple pages of people who mostly weren't there weighing in with their valued opinions on things that are mostly not even related or relevant.
