I am not leaving tremulous. I left it years ago.
I am also not leaving my life. But it wants to leave me.
I have fought cancer for 6 years 4 months and 12 days.
Every time they said it had been cured it turned back a few months later.
So I am leaving everything behind.
I will live in a small house near the sea for the rest of my life (or what is left of it)

Sir (or unlikely Madam), I wish you the best of luck. A suggestion: Try not to sweat the small stuff like disease and mortality.

We should all be grateful that we get to be here as long as we are, no matter how long that duration may be. Not because someone's god told you so or because it may even be true which would mean somebody on the internet was actually right for a change (and that would just be weird) but because, plain-and-simple, life rocks. Reality is the greatest game of all and, if the Hindus are to be believed, you're next respawn should be a lot better.

Until then, try to remember that there's as much beauty in this world as there is pain. I mean, if a cynical fuck like me can still feel compelled to post the occasional pseudo-enlightened sentiment-riddled reply simply because he sensed that a complete stranger who liked the same video game as him was having a rough go at it, then anything is possible.
