tremulous 1.2 grey screen?

so i open tremulous 1.1 and i go in to mod to load up gpp and the screen just flickers and then just goes grey am using a windows 7 laptop

It would be helpful to have more information, like a condump, screenshot, any custom HUDs you've used, etc.

nop i just installed 1.1 and than 1.2 have not played a single game

How about running the tremulous-gpp.exe, rather than 1.1? 1.2(GPP) isn't compatible with 1.1 and you shouldn't, as far as i'm aware, be attempting to load it as a mod from the 1.1 client.

ok, now that i got that sorted out, new problem, how many servers do u get? am only getting 1 server and its 700 ping?
