Looking for a game server?

I'm looking to disperse some of the cost of a dedicated server, and I'm hoping to find 2 people on here who would like a Tremulous server based out of Virginia.

Server can be private or public and up to 16 players.

I'll also include web + email hosting if you like - this will be setup on a different box to avoid resource issues.

Looking at about $45/month, but willing to negotiate.

That is a verrry steep price you are asking, considered that 45$ is what you skip in.
Root server that offer more are already out there for much less.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this looks like a rip off to me.

Edit: imho: Dreamhost is way to expensive. They are asking ~70$ for a shared box? I mean... come oooon. Prices can't be that different in the US.
Compared to Germany where 1TB-traffic & housed server & 100mbit is around 40€ (should roughly be around 45$).

Find a cheaper server in VA and you let me know. Don't compare the prices you can get in Germany to those you can get here in the States. About the closest you will get around here is a VPS with far less resources.

And why in the world did you go offtopic and bring up Dreamhost!?

I'm going to get a dedicated box and I'm looking to share the cost. I'll setup the game servers and give FTP and file access to update config files.

$45 for a well-configured server that will only have 3 game servers on it is not bad in my book.

I notice you didn't mention anything about server resources or bandwidth. If it's got 64MB RAM, an old Pentium II, and you're letting people use 1GB space, and it's connected to a 64kbps ISDN line, that's definitely out of the question for most people. If it has 8GB RAM, quad 2.4GHz Xeons, is connected to a OC-3 line, and you're letting people use as much disk space as they want, that would probably be much better (but then why limit it to 16 players?).
