GrangerHub has recently opened a new Tremulous server, located in New York City:
GrangerPub US East - GrangerHub.com

GrangerPub is a multi-protocol server, which allows all Tremulous clients to connect, including 1.1 and GPP!

The server has 1.1 (vanilla) gameplay based on Slacker’s QVM, with some additional improvements. Older clients can now download maps from this server at the same higher speeds as newer clients. As a result, in addition to the default maps, custom maps are being added periodically, which can be enjoyed by all players, regardless of the client they use.

Before connecting, make sure you have enabled client-side downloads, by opening the in-game console (accessed by pressing the tilde key “~” aka the grave or backtick key, which is directly below the Esc key on US QWERTY keyboards) and typing:
