How do you install the CL_getservercommand patch?

I'm really sick of seeing this error, but I don't know how to install the patch :(

first you tell us information about your system and setup etc.
then you need to learn what a c compiler is.
then you need to get one.
then download the source, and mod it as that file says.
then compile it and play.

you should prob get the latest SVN code instead of just using that patch. still you need to get a compiler etc.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

I'm so sorry, I forgot I posted this.
I'm running windows XP, I don't know about my graphics cards or anything. Tremulous works and everything, except for this bug and the one where it gets stuck at the map loading screen. I know what a C compiler is, and I downloaded one. But I don't know where to put the code(I know which file, but I don't know where in that file). Also, where do I get the latest SVN code+source code?

That patch is for the server, not the client.
Need help? Ask intelligently. Please share solutions you find.

i know it isn't fixed yet, but your version of the server binary includes that patch.
