Hi all.
I play most of the time as Alien and I'm always complaining about those camping humans. There are very few games, when humans play aggressive and leave their base to hunt some aliens outside.
I would suggest an option (turnable off), which does the following: If an human is near a turret or tesla (20 meters or so) and kills an alien, he does not get money / his team does not gain kills for next stage. The same thing would apply to aliens and acid tubes and hives.
This way, you had to leave your base and fight outside to gain something. The only problem I see is, that humans would get into trouble, when tyrants are rushing their base. But maybe humans would then always play aggressive, and aliens doesnt had always the possibility to rush the humans down.
At the moment there are three situation nearly always the same:
First situation:
Aliens rush humans at start, evolve to Marauder/Dragoon and kill the humans within max 5 minutes, because they are too passive.
Second situation:
Aliens attack human base, killing a human, get killed by turret, and sometimes kill a turret. Then humans rebuild the turret and it starts again. When sudden death caused, aliens destroy turrets, humans can't rebuild them and die soon after sudden death.
Third situation:
There are one or two profesionel human players, killing one alien after another, running to alien base with chainsaw, nade, etc, kill om and the game is over. But this one very rare.
I dont know of other guys experience those three situation too, but I think, that camping realy needless slows down the game. How do you think about it?
