I don't know if this is the right place... anyway...
Is tyhere a way to backup the guid generated by tjw's client?
Do I have to backup all the base dir or is there a smarter way?

i ussually just copy my entire ~/.tremulous folder, because i wanna copy all the settings too, but i believe that ~/.tremulous/base/qkey is the file containing the guid. (test this before depending on it though)

qkey is the file.
I just keep all my important settings in one file. It makes handling multiple computers much easier.
