HEADACHE!

I am currently running Fedora core 5. I ran the tremulous installer, and everything went great, but when I tried to run tremulous i got this error below.

And yes, I checked, and libSDL is in /usr/lib

Looks like you don't have the right version or your SDL install is corrupt. My /usr/lib/libSDL-1.2.so.0 is a link to libSDL-1.2.so.0.7.2 (maybe you have a broken link). It also looks like you like the fugly old RHL ~7 theme. Yuck!

ok, i think I might have found the problem. I do have libSDL-1.2.so.0 and libSDL-1.2.so.0.7.2. But they are in /usr/lib64/ not /usr/lib/ do They need to be in /usr/lib/ ?

why would you run trem as root?
make sure that libSDL.so is named like tremulous expects it to be, and if it isn't, create a symlink with that name.

1) never ever run anything none-system as root
2) never ever try running a 32-bit in a 64-bit environ
3) use Tylenol against thos achy topics .)
