Megagun, you lack some basic knowledge about Tremulous basebuilding, yet you run around the map telling people, most notably GORE! and me, where we are to build or where we are not to build.
Hmm.. I'm sorry, I guess I kind of explained myself wrong, or you misunderstood what I was pointing at. As far as I remember, the Humans moved their base pretty damn soon towards the little corner room that leads from the default human base to the outside area. They got overwhelmed, lost, someone said that their base was crap, and I responded with "why move, since their main base location was nice enough anyways". It wasn't my intention whatsoever to try and force my opinion on you two.
When you say something about Karith Human Original base being very good, GORE! and I get the level you are on and ask you to shut up because we only see this big, brown turd coming out of the area inbetween your spread lips.
Blah. I myself feel that the default base is exceptionally well, at least better than the cornerroom base location. And as I also said later on, it is exceptionally well if Humans hit S3, and even more so when they do so before the aliens hit S3. Why? Because 2 battlesuited chaingunners deployed on each entrance to the human base are able to kill pretty much anything in their paths. Do you think that when I tell BSuited Luci people that are defending our base by spamming Luci shots to "Get BSuit + Chaingun! It is better for defense", the info I tell them is a whole lot of turd? I can assure you, that whenever I brought that up, my team was at least able to defend well against a common Tyrant + Advgoon strike.
I DO agree, ofcourse, that the default human base location on Karith isn't all too well when defense is not great, and the Aliens hit S3 before Humans do. Nothing is worse than a few Advgoons on the balcony, sniping away the human base (That is what I do all the time on Karith, at least. And I also tell others to not go Tyrant on Karith because it makes no sense there, since sniping away a human base over there is usually much more easier and less able to go wrong).
As lots of other players that aren't lacking as much as you do know, I might be a harsh bastard, but I'm not that stupid to ignore good info. It's just that the 'info' you supply is not only obsolete, it's plain incorrect. That is why we asked you to shut up, then when you wouldn't shut your piehole, I turned to the 'stfu or mute', which worked great.
The 'stfu or mute' only worked great because I somewhat respect authority. Be glad that I do, really.
Now, if I am such a newbie, and if you are such a pro, can you tell me why the default location is so bad, and what I need to improve on my vision to also improve with my Tremulous skills? And can you also explain to me what exact "basic knowledge about Tremulous basebuilding" I lack? I mean, you're great and all that, and I suck, so you should be able to do that, right?
