everybody has to have a few builders they are impressed with.

=HH=WolfWings and odin are the best damn build pair ive ever seen, and thats coming from a builder.

I reside in SST, usually humans and I build...a lot, I also UN-BUILD NOOBY PLACEMENTS, especially noobs who wont give up placing a damn turret in that side corrdior on ATCS when a tyrant is 4 steps away hoping that the 17 noobs with rifles will take care of the tyrant.
I also hate idiots who try to move the base to the pipes in Niveus.
As well as the idiots who move the reactor without any help whatsoever.

And the bane of my existance is the damn deconners who get the reac, then get banned forever. Altho I like the banning part :D .

Well, named, Xonya can do good work, and some others of who I've forgotten the name.

What I hate: Noobs who try to move into the no-exit room (aka window-room) without any need.

I'm my favorite Trem builder because I build everything where I want it to be, and I never have to go around finding my own egg spam or floor trappers or rambo turretsor forward medpads.

Well, if not accompanied by a good team, the base falls apart, at S2 and definitely S3. A human's best defense at alines S3 is making the base close-knit.
I also don't like tesla spammers.

All great builders given any occasion.

There are other good builders but not quite as imaginative as the few above.
Although I gotta say I've learned some tricks from The Reverand and DoorSlammer as well.

all the unnamed players who take the time to put up those few (sometimes poorly placed) turrets that can save your ass in a intense firefight. In general people seem to snap at poor builders a lot more then good builders get praised so i would like to thank those who build and make it possible for the rest of us to feed :D

Tremma, bless his saw, always manages to build the most saw-proof base as aliens that I've ever seen.  I've seen good work from the grangers in CU| too.  And a few other awesome grangers that showed me some interesting egg hiding spots that I never would have seen otherwise.  And to whoever as human can build a base to keep back the tyrants for all of SD.  Kudos to them.

hmmmm... I don't really know any famous builders yet... but... nevermind...
but I DID see some good builders (forgot the name) who did good for aliens and humans. When I remember their name, I'll post their names.

but I DO have some builders that I would HATE to have:
-builders who decon reactor without saying anything
-builders who decon whatever they want
-builders who think everything they do is right
-builders who ban people when others say it's wrong, or others putting the building they deconned back
-builders who say that they are the only ones who should be the builder
-builders who go "OMG HELP THE BASE!!!" and go swearing and crazy when the others are trying their base
-people who ban builders when they are just moving the base
-people who think the builders are deconning

I ran into the epitome of everything holyknight hates earlier today: the aliens were attacking the human base and all humans were in the base defending. The builder decons the reactor to move it and then blames the defenders when the game ends. "No one was defending."

About the deconning reac without telling anyone, i like to do that in the beginning of the game, as fast as possible, since i usually am the first to join a tea, since i load faster than average, i can move the base so quickly that the dretches havent got time to find me (much of the time).
if that dosnt work, i just recon reac in base and try again another time.

But doing what you are doing could be risky, the alien could rush to the base at the beginning of the game and they could realize what's happening. Then they'll send all their army and wipe out humans.

Yeah, but its kinda exiting, and noone really loses anything at it, cause if it causes a loss, they havent got that much time to get frustrated at getting asswhopped. short tempers are always a problem .)

Well i got to say that currently people start to be boring with their regular bases so I often shake the game a bit and place base in most stranges base i can find and find my self best base ever.
Coz I play regulary on TTO server and UVache server and visit some other servers with (Cebt), [UVache] and [T.T.O] clan members, I have noticed that there are only few that can play with that "shake of game" and are closemindedly sticking in commonly known base spots.

People who are my fav builders (after my self ^^) are:
1. DoorKnob (can take shake even tough uses common base spots often)
2. SPUDD (seems fair good with base defences and also seem to love the shake ^^)

Well, right from the get go dretches really can't do anything inside a human base except die, especially if the map pre-builds a turret or two for you.

EDIT: Actually, if the reactor is down that doesn't make any sense.

The CU guys are definitely good builders.

I wanted to get good at building but everytime I start to set up a base, some asshat joins the server, spawns as a builder and wastes all my bp building defences for the base location I'm moving from.

Sooo, I don't build anymore unless I have to.
