For now, I just called it "supersimple" (Yes I know the name is stupid, I'll pick a better one later)

Now, I finally got the base layout complete. There are four whole rooms in the map (small map)
The human base, the cargobay, the alien base, and the pump room (I went insane with patch meshes here...)
All connected with those fancy hallways. Aliens are going to love the pump room, because of all the shadowy areas between pipes, on the roof, etc. Humans will probably avoid that area.
I haven't put in any sounds or anything yet. Each base has the overmind/reactor and two spawn points, nothing fancy.
If anyone is curious about these doors, I'm going to release a prefab map with the doors/triggers set up. With Radiant 1.5 you can just import the map and it automatically increases the number in the target and targetname values, so you usually just have to position it (and maybe edit the frame)
I wanted the lighting to be very dark. Because humans are going to have an advantage anyways - many straight corridors and it is a small map. So why can't they stumble around half-blind?

If it is really a problem, I'll make them a bit brighter.
Here's my first beta version of the map. I probably won't be able to play the map much (Dialup sucks) but you guys can for awhile. Barely any detail besides the Pumproom yet.
