I usually have my sensitivity way up, but I recently noticed that with my previous sensitivity and resolution settings (way down so I get reasonably frame rate on this laptop), my aim was jumpy. I had to adjust my sensitivity to correct that. I'm having trouble getting used to it =/

I don't play as aliens, but when I go humans, I have mine roughly medium, leaning a bit to the high side.  I got a wierd mouse, so it does strange things when I move too quickly or suddenly  :P

I have mid-high... pretty much as high as I can safely go with a low DPI mouse (1000)

When Thorn tried high sens, it didn't turn very well with his mass driven.

His clan was slowly dying, sick of being called feeder. So he decided to create another clan; "100 shots eventually 1 kill".

Didn't get much success either..

The best case is to get a high dpi mouse, as if you turn sensitivity up it just sets how many pixels the cursor moves per every movement your mouse makes. If you set it too high on the average mouse(100-150) you'll end up skipping large sections and be unable to aim properly.

As a sidenote, Belier can you keep your bitch sessions to PM, we don't want to listen to your penis envy problems.

rasz@capek:~$ xset q |grep accel
  acceleration:  1/1    threshold:  10
rasz@capek:~$ cat /sys/module/usbhid/parameters/mousepoll
5
rasz@capek:~$ cat .tremulous/base/autogen.cfg | grep sens
seta sensitivity "14"

changing m_yaw/m_pitch would make aliens hard to play

Aim forward. Quickly look to your right.
If your not looking 90 degrees like you had intended then you need to tweak it a bit.

My problem is I like it just a little different for aliens and humans usually.. I used a really high setting for aliens you want to be able to turn quickly, and eventually i just sort of forced myself to get used to it as human and now i'm pretty well adjusted.

HIGH SENSITIVITY HURAH!

I keep mine default.
I did turn it up a little bit but I'm actually good at it. Its a pain in the ass when you move it a inch and your crosshair goes 10 feet. I like it to be even between the two so I can get a better feel on how everything is gonna move.

TonkaTruck: what you described is the pounce ability. It's like a super jump that does damage. Regular jump is hitting the spacebar.

Holding right click charges up a pounce.  The longer you hold it, the longer the pounce.

I haven't seen the video yet, but to pounce a ways, yes you look up a little bit.
