hi,

kaszak (YK@ member) made a patch for the newest svn (848)

Features:

Sticky Spec by R1ch
Designate builder
Denybuild
Share
Newest svn
building messages by peoro
Balance mod compatable (just the .pk3 file needed, if not there, the server sill run normally without the mod)

The patch can be found here:

The already compiled game.gvm and tremded.x86 can be found here:
http://umbar.ovh.org/tremyk/newest/linux/newest.tar.bz2

It is already running on YK@ Dark Lair server.

How is that possible? :o

Balance mod replaces all QVMs, you can't have custom code at all on a Balance server.

Once I have a look at your patch, I think you may find it compatible with the next revision of Balance mod for other reasons though. 8)

erm no, he didnt make any of those patches, he just edited them, still not his code :)

all of those but the designated builder patch apply cleanly to svn, the designated builder patch might too, but i haven't applied it, and it might require 30 seconds of work to make it compatible with !denybuild. it takes longer to compile tremulous.(x86|exe|ub) than it does to do all of that.
