vote kick system must be fixed
it must ban at the beginning of the vote
then either unbans or kicks
so if someone quits in the middle of a vote it will be banned XD

and it must be like

/callvote kick player reason
reason must be provided

so basically if u didnt do anything and were just playing the game innocently i could just call a vote and u would be banned right off. then after the vote failed u would be unbanned

so i could call it again and again constantly banning u until i either got banned or kicked.

you realize ban and kick are different?
there should be some vote limit (2 for example)
call it 2 times what will happen?

it is not too different from normal vote kick
just it makes sure that ppl cant avoid ban by reconnecting

You know, you do not need for someone to be connected to the server to ban him I know that the voting system is broken, but there is no need for such hacks to make it work correctly!

it is partially fixed but if you change yourname to something weird votekick( by player name) will fail
but votekick by client# always works

Then, preventing namechange during a vote is just another hack to fix the voting system, which is a bad solution then

u just said kick vote to ban? thats a ban vote then. kicks just knock people out of server. doesnt stop them from coming back like a ban does.

still dont understand what ur saying.  

ex. someoen starts grieifing and decons stuff.

player A called a vote to kick (or ban as it should be) player B.

so once this is called player b gets banned until the vote is decided. once everyone votes. if yes he stays banned. if no his temp ban from vote gets removed and he can come back in.


if that is so... if we can ban them they can ban us. if im playing with lots of kills.... not that they matter but a lot of noobs here think if u get a lot of kills ur pro.. and say i have full creds. a greifer can just call a ban vote and i can get banned.. even if i come back ill lose kills and creds.

sry but that sucks.  again its something left up to the admins.  if u see no admin around get to know the person in charge of server. become friends and hang out maybe u can be an admin there as well.

He doesn't mean you get kicked at the start of the vote. A ban is put on you so you can't enter again if you leave before the vote is over.
You can however remain in the server without any consequences. If you leave to avoid the consequences and then try to come back in though you can't. This prevents griefers from avoiding votes by leaving and reconnecting.

the best bet is to play on a server with admins. Then don't even bother with vote kicks, or if you do, there's a good likelihood someone trying to evade a kick will be banned for a bit longer.
