Why not? hell, i dont see why not!! This would be great, if you guys both worked together, to make something REALLY good! I really don't see why not make something thats balanced, and yet, such a good mod that it changes the gameplay, but its the same game! I don't see why VCXZET and Risujin cant work together to create a superior mod, for the whole community... This would just be marvelous... I say yes, work together guys! Make something original, extraordinary, and as always... FUN...

Cmon, too great minds compiled into one Zip File to make a great .pk3 file! Works for me!

We're already helping each other out ... I can think of 3 new additions to rev 12 that originated from vcxzet. If a BIG idea comes along that we can collaborate on, I'm game. 8)

I would prefer that the projects stay separate. If they join some of the stuff in each mod will be lost.

Not true... if they made one, together, that would be very good, because then they had the other 2 mods separate... id love to see a mod them doing together, one that would totally alter the gameplay into more fun, more excitement... and fear!! omg yes! ok maybe not...

Theres a lot of things in TremX that wouldn't belong in Balance mod. Vczet made it unbalanced on purpose, so the two mods are polar opposites in that regard. That doesnt mean I dont get inspired or borrow not-unbalanced code from him.

TremX is not unbalanced. Same story as regular trem.

Balance mods are irrelevant.

I don't care if i;m a disgrace for teh human race. My favorite team is Aliens anyway  ^^  :roll:  :P

Sorry to destroy yer dreams, Evlesoa. But balance is a matter of players, and TremX is just a very exaggerated version of trem. (and i really like it, too! thanx, vcxzet! (did i spell that right?))

only thing that is new is exploding dretches however aliens dont explode. they just corrupt
and believe if you were to fight against aliens you wont want a bouncing weapon

Biles are the alien's grenade, and they aren't overpowered like that gay tyrant shit.

Xael is kinda... retarted... in balance mod, especially since I cant get it to do any damage no matter how I shoot.

the verdict : Both mods suck (imho) but Balance is teh winnar by a long shit.... shot, sorry.

@Evlesoa: I think this is third time the same thing is discussed. first time was probly after 3rd release of balance mod. And that means about 3 hours after first release xD (isn't that some what right ris?

Actually I kind of know what direction to take this mod in. Basically its an arcade version of Tremulous, it makes players as versatile as possible etc. The reason revision 17 is stuck is the Firefly though. I have not made the skin or animations!

Also there are going to be serious issues with merging into the latest SVN. I don't know what to do about the large bsuit boxes etc... maybe shrink em down again?
