Switching to the desktop on linux
« on: December 28, 2006, 09:07:10 am »
Hi!
I installed tremulous a month ago, I tried to figure out how to switch to my desktop during the game, but I still can't find an answer. I tried Tremulous both on Slackware 11 and Frugalware.
I found Etswitch, which should do the trick. I installed it, configured it, launched: but it just doesn't work!!! I tried different keys, but still nothing... Anyone knows how to do this?? Thanks!!!

This should be in feedback instead.
Alt+Enter works

Easy : keep the console open and press alt+enter to switch to windowed mode. When you want to get back to the game, select the game window, press alt+enter and close the console.

Watch out because the game has a very weird behaviour if the map changes while on windowed mode.

Mmm, 4 day necro but oh well.

Anyway, some times I do this and go back in game.  When I'm back in game, my sensitivity will go crazy and my turn radius is sometime locked. Meaning I can't do a 360 and keep spinning.
